Based on our performance on Monday’s benchmarks, we need some more review. So here it is. This assignment is NOT a homework assignment. It is another resource for you to use that will help pass our last 10 benchmarks. These 10 benchmarks on Surface Area and Volume of the Prism, Cylinder, Pyramid, Cone, and Sphere are all on the final exam, too. That would mean these last 10 benchmarks make up about 25% of the final exam!!! These benchmarks are important!!!
Anyway, I’m working on Moodle practice as well as screencasts for surface area and volume of 5 basic solids. It will take another day or 2, so check Wednesday or Thursday. Yes, we will be re-taking these benchmarks on Thursday, but having the Moodle practice is a great resource for review.

I think that im starting to understand the concept of everyone of the ten benchmarks. But i think that having a couple of new videos on the iPizzle (iPod) could help me study for that final thats coming up.

Thanks Fjelstrom. The study guides and extra help you give with your videos makes it impossible not to pass old benchmarks if you missed or need to retake them.

The review really helped, but I found actually doing the home work helped too. Then I knew what I was doing. It was quite surprising to find that studying and doing home work really helps. lol. Thanks Mr. F. for all your hard work. =)

I get all of the valume and surface area stuff that deals with circles. Im still haveing trouble with the pyramid and prism. So I will have to come over and get some help.
